Rumors and camouflaged spyshots featuring this car have been running rampant on the internet over the last several months working into a frenzy lately. Ferrari finally has released official photos and specs on the car now known as the California. The car will be sporting a 4.3l 460HP direct injection V8 mated to a dual clutch 7 speed, rear mounted, transaxle - both Ferrari firsts. The all aluminum body pays tribute to the classic 250 GT California while also representing Ferrari's modern design theme and features another Ferrari first, a power retractable folding hardtop.
No pricing info has been released yet. The car should be capable of sub 4 second 0-60 runs. The official unveiling will come at the Paris Motor Show.
