2,000,000th visitor to Mercedes-Benz Museum
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Stuttgart, Germany, Sep 05, 2008
Just little more than two years after opening its doors, the Mercedes-Benz Museum today received its 2,000,000th visitor. Michael Bock, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Museum GmbH, was on hand to extend a warm welcome to the happy milestone visitor, Christoph Ludwig, who had travelled from Munich together with his children Timo and Jakob. The surprised customer was presented with a book on the Mercedes-Benz Museum and was subsequently invited to a three-course meal in the museum restaurant.
"The fact that, little more than two years after the Mercedes-Benz Museum opened its doors, we have now welcomed our 2,000,000th visitor exceeds our already high expectations," said Michael Bock. "This figure again demonstrates the attractiveness of the exhibition and confirms that, with the Mercedes-Benz Museum, we have succeeded in creating a globally unique communication platform for our brand, which continues to hold a strong fascination for our visitors."
The Mercedes-Benz Museum opened on May 19, 2006. Alongside the Mercedes-Benz Brand Center Stuttgart, the Mercedes-Benz Museum is an integral part of Mercedes-Benz World, which represents a unique combination of the past, present and future of the brand with the star, making for an unforgettable experience for the visitor. The Mercedes-Benz World also offers extensive event areas, which can be rented or used for media productions. They are also used for numerous public events that are organized each year by Mercedes-Benz World.
