The last-time we saw the A7 coupe, it was hidden beneath a thick layer of cloth. This Audi prototype, believed to be a mule of the upcoming Audi A7 coupe, crashed outside the N�rburgring when the driver lost control in the early morning. The mule was testing alongside an Audi A1 prototype. The prototype was not wearing Audi's trademark full-cover camouflage, thus allowing the details of the car to be fully on view. The mule was unceremoniously loaded onto a flatbed truck and carted away. The driver was said to be unhurt. The Audi A7 is expected to make its debut at the 2009 Frankfurt motorshow. A convertible and RS variants is said to be in the pipeline.
