General Motors announced that the Cadillac CTS-V will be officially putting down 556HP and 551TQ from it's slightly detuned version of the Corvette ZR1's 6.2L supercharged V8. Acceleration from 0-60 is claimed to be around 3.9 seconds and the 1/4 mile will be flying by in 12 flat. Top speed is claimed to be 175MPH with the six speed auto and 191MPH with the six speed manual. That's enough to make BMW M5s cower in the corner.
Just imagine what a supercharger pulley upgrade, free flow exhaust, and a computer reflash would add. 600+HP should be pretty easy.
