Canoe Sports is Canada is reporting that Patrick Carpentier will miss the Sprint Cup race at Pocono in early August so that he can fully concentrate on running the Nationwide race in Montreal that same weekend. Carpentier made his debut in Montreal race in which he finished 2nd. No word from Gillet-Evernham Motorsports on if this will happen and if it does who will replace Carpentier for that race.
