
GM just announced the pricing and official performance specs on the upcoming 2009 Corvette ZR1. The base price will be $103,300 plus a $1,700 gas guzzler tax. On top of that you can splurge for $2,000 chrome wheels and a single $10,000 option package. Fully equipped, the ZR1 will sticker for $117,000. Not only the most expensive Corvette, but the most expensive car ever offered by GM.
Power from the LS9 will be rated at 638HP and 0-60 will take only 3.4 seconds on way to an 11.3 second 1/4 mile at 131MPH. Top speed is 205MPH while returning 14mpg city and 20mpg highway.
