Chrison's 'The Driver' animation series

I saw this posted on Eu Jin's blog the other day (EJ's Nissan Skyline GF-ER34 (??????)). Then reader 350zzz shared it too.

'The Driver' by Chrison. Who is TheDriver? - "TheDriver" is an animated tv series scheduled for a Summer 2011 release.

Here's the trailer...

Looks interesting! Awesome the R35 is going to be a main feature!

Chrison is a great animator and I'm sure you've all seen his previous work, "Extreme Limit" 2001, an official short. "Extreme Limit" is the first animated short done by Chrison and he clipped it with "No One Sleep in Tokyo" Music by EDO BOYS. You know, the stuff you hear on Initial D? *laughs*

Here's "Extreme Limit" 2001 - Official Short...

350Z Nismo S-Tune GT

At one time, was contemplating on keeping this... but hell it's butt ugly!

350Z Nismo S-Tune, a specially developed a version of the 350Z to celebrate NISMO's win in the Japanese 2004 GT500 Touring Car Championship.

There's really not much to shout about other than the car is now pumping 300PS thanks to the aid of improved timing control, stronger con-rod bolts, uprated valve springs, a lightweight fly wheel, re-mapped ECU, carbon cold air intake and sports exhaust..

To be honest, I'm not really digging the extended front and rear bumpers, side-sills and a rear wing. Looks like a platypus. The car now sits 20 mm lower than the standard Nissan 350Z as the chassis has been stiffened and the suspension upgraded to G-Attack springs and dampers. Brakes are 355 mm front rotors with 4 pot Brembo calipers.

In the cabin, the S-Tune GT has a pair of race-style bucket seats with embroidered Nismo logo's which I failed to take a picture of.

350z's almost perfect balance

Edit : Whoops, my mistake, it's a 350z. Thanks zahid, Van Strapp, ikus. Lack of sleep must have caused me to go cross-eyed. *laughs* So sorry.

We all know the 350z has an almost perfect weight distribution of 54/46, front-to-rear. This photo of an accident in New York really sums that up.

Drive safe peeps.
