IMPORTANT:Mercedes-Benz Recalling GL-Klasse and ML-Klasse models

Mercedes-Benz has recently discovered a technical error made during the production process of the GL- and ML-Klasse models, MY 2006-2008. We are talking about a faulty welding of the trailer hitch receiver to the attachment bar(which then connects to the body frame of the car), that could possibly lead to the separation of the two structures, while running and pulling a trailer. These are the main reasons why the Stuttgart-based carmaker has decided to recall a number of 52470 GL- and ML-Klasse models, produced between 2006 and 2008, for a rigorous inspection and for replacing of the unsecure parts mentioned above. If you own a ML- or a GL- model produced between 2006 and 2008 and you have any other questions on this issue, our advice is to locate the closest Mercedes-Benz dealer from your area, where you will be able to obtain further information about the recalling and the procedures to be taken.
