Struggling Ducati Marlboro's Nicky Hayden will race on a radical new machine setting on his GP9 in Catalunya GP tomorrow. Hayden has been desperate to try and find a breakthrough in this MotoGP season. The 2006 MotoGP champion will experiment a race with a completely different setting tested at Mugello last week.
While Nicky Hayden has so far struggled to adapt to the GP9, his team mate Casey Stoner has continued his top performance. The 23-year-old Aussie goes into Catalunya Car Evolution with a four-point lead over home favorite rider Jorge Lorenzo.
