BREAKING NEWS:Daimler and BMW to announce possible partnership at the end of November

A week or so ago, BMW signed an agreement with FIAT for sharing technical components for the next MINI, Fiat and Alfa Romeo small-sized models;Daimler has also announced some time ago that it will go on its own to develop the future A- & B-Class models. So nobody expected that a Daimler-BMW alliance could possibly take shape now, in addition to the result of the first talks between the two constructors. Today, Motor Authority broke the ice with a totally unexpected article:Daimler and BMW will announce a possible partnership at the end of November, precisely at the Los Angeles Motor Show. If so, then Mercedes-Benz and BMW won't share technical platforms and engines, but parts hidden to customers' eyes, such as air-conditioning units and braking systems, as some officials from the 2 companies hinted.
