Fangio goes to Spain ...

I recently have had growing orders for my art and my limited editions from the world over.

Just before Christmas, an order came in from an Englishman Tony, living in Spain. He ordered my Fangio Maserati 250F limited edition for his best friend Peters birthday. Peter is a Fangio fan, and use to own and race a 250F.

Once the order came in and I packaged up the print, I decided to add a little sketch on the packaging that I referenced from an image of Peter racing that I found on the web. I then shipped it off to Spain.

I was thrilled to get this note from Tony:

Hi Paul,

As you can see, Peter is well. He thought the framed picture was superb and was extremely chuffed with the extra drawing you sent, his wife was speechless (for a change)

Once again, many thanks, you made his birthday one to remember.

Kind regards,

Tony

Ginormous Cork Truck Big Hit at Barcelona Wedding

Ginormous Cork Truck Big Hit at Barcelona Wedding
This ginormous antique Cork Truck photo was taken by Emily during her Barcelona visit last October where she attended Felipe and Silva's Wedding. Probably too much information but I do wish the young couple my best. Anyways Emilys trip was well worth it here at ACC because she brought back with her a little bit of art car history. Thanks Emily.

Bugatti Club Italia visits Spain 2006

In 2006, my family and I had the great pleasure of visiting Spain.

It was a fabulous trip, filled with amazing futball (soccer), amazing people, amazing food, amazing art and amazing scenery.

Towards the end of our trip, on our way back to Barcelona, we stayed in the fabulous village of Morella, about 3 hours west of Barcelona. It was dramatic and picturesque, and the drive there was stimulating.

On our second day, while sitting down for tapas and cerveza, we heard an engine sound like I've never before ... the sound of riping callico! The Bugatti Club Italia arrived in town, part of their organized tour of the Valencia region of Spain.

There were T23's, T35's, T37's, T40's and a T55, nine in all, followed a Porsche 356 Spyder support car and famed British Bugatti restorer Malcolm Gentry in an equipment van.

It was a very impressive gathering in a very dramatic setting!
