Fiat 500 Abarth by Romeo Ferraris

Mental.

The Abarth SS was already a pretty serious little racer with 160hp from it's little 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

This Fiat 500 Abarth by Romeo Ferraris produces a whopping 360 horsepower! 360hp from a car the size of your shoe! *laughs*
It weights only 970kg with help from the carbon-fiber body. This car will be used to take part in the '6 Hours of Vallelunga' endurance race in Italy which happens today, the 22nd November.

New Fiat 500

Some pictures Aaron took while he was visiting Amir's place yesterday. I actually handed him my camera but alas, it was out of battery. These shots from his phone will have to do for now...

The Fiat 500 was one of those iconic cars much like the Mini and the Beetle but this 'new' version is substantially cheaper unlike the other two.

If I needed a day to day car compact car, I would definitely pick this simply because it one of those cars with classic lines and it's uncommon. There are plans to release a limited run of 500 units of a sport version which would be packing 150hp to 200hp, include a six speed sequential gearbox, carbon fiber composite chassis, and Brembo disc brakes. Now that would be some serious fun!

Here's an Abarth version back in the days...

Check out what happens when Abarth has worked some of it's magic on it. Wicked!

1.4 16v petrol Turbo engine, which delivers a maximum of 135 bhp (99 kW) at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 206 Nm at 3,000 rpm in 'Sport' mode (in 'Normal' mode, torque is reduced to 180 Nm at 2,500 rpm). It's going to be a nippy little bugger!

Hmm... I should get one... *grin*

Spotted, Fiat 500

I was on my way back home yesterday with Becky (must have been my lucky charm) when I spotted this...
Excuse the shoddy pictures. The E71's camera is crap.

It's the new Fiat 500! I only know of another red one in town and it belongs to the Tengku Amir Shah, the Royal Prince of Selangor. Will have to ask Aaron to snap some pictures next time he visits his classmates 'palace'. *laughs*
