The Transparent 370Z

Sorry for the lack of posts and updates. Been quite a week with the Converse X David Corio event and while this exhibition is running during the day, this coming Wednesday to Friday there will be a Space Age Concert from 9pm to 10pm. Anyway, more on that later...


So, we've all seen the Shell Helix Ultra engine oil advertisement where a transparent 370Z is seen in it. Impressive but you'd even be more impressed by the fact that this commercial used no CGI for the car itself. Instead, Asylum Models and Effects was employed to actually make all the parts of this Nissan from scratch. I don't think it drives, but hey, it's still an awesome model! Megatron a 370Z and Optimus Prime a GT-R?

From the "Alternity Convoy" series by Japanese toy maker Takara-Tomy, check out the first shots of whats to be expected. Optimus Prime will be a GT-R and Megatron looks to be a 370Z. Sick!

370Z

Nissan had the Nissan 370Z displayed at the 51st Annual San Francisco International Auto Show. I didn't think much of the car at first but it certainly looks good in the flesh. The lines of the 370Z reflects more of what is intended to succeed, the Nissan S30 series, or better known as the Fairlady Z (240Z and later as the 260Z and 280Z in some markets).

To add icing on the top, I thought she the best looking lady I saw throughout the auto show...



She was very sweet looking.


I wanted a closer shot, she obliged and blushed...
