Holden Series II Captivas unveiled [video]

Holden of Australia has unveiled the new Series II Captivas, ahead of their launch later this year.
First up, the Captiva 7 has a new hood, an aggressive front fascia, and restyled lighting units.
Inside, the cabin is vastly improved as there is a new instrument cluster, a revised center stack, and higher quality materials. A variety of packages are available, but the range-topping LX boasts leather upholstery, GPS navigation, and a rear view camera.
Under the hood, three new engines are available. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder produces 123kW (165 hp / 167 PS), while the Commodore-sourced 3.0-liter SIDI V6 churns out 190 kW (255 hp / 258 PS). If you're a fan of alternative fuels, you'll be delighted to know the company also offers a 2.2-liter diesel that develops 135 kW (181 hp / 184 PS).
For the Captiva 5, designers added a modified front fascia, a revised grille, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's additional sound deadening material, an electric park brake, and a multi-function trip computer.
Like its larger brother, the model can be equipped with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel which produces 135 kW (181 hp / 184 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. If you'd rather go the petrol route, the company offers a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that churns out 123 kW (165 hp / 167 PS) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque.
