Transport Minister Vit Barta, has been banned from driving for 6 months after his Maserati GranTurismo wore fake number plates. He also faces a Kc5,000 (171/203).
Mr Barta told police officers that he had lost his original number plate whilst driving on a dirt road and he was using the fake numberplate till he could get a replacement.
So this begs a few questions; 1. Is Czech Republic the only country in the developed world wear a transport minister isnt/cant drive? 2. Why cant he obtain another set of allocated license plates for his car, and 3. Do most ministers drive around in flash cars in Eastern Europe?
