If you are one avid fan, you must have noticed the jeweled X-Lite X-802 helmet Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo wore when he was crowned the 2010 MotoGP World Champion in Valencia on November 7, 2010. The helmet was a real eye-catcher and now, X-Lite will be offering a very limited number of handcrafted replicas of this sparkling helmet. Dubbed Lorenzo Valencia, the helmet comes finished in eight layers of paint, with the lustrous finish produced by the impregnation of gold pigment. The top of the helmet features the Porfuera symbol (meaning �on the outside�) festooned with 1800 Swarovski crystals.
Skilled artisans take 96 hours to complete each helmet, and they are delivered with special presentation packaging plus and the World Champion�s signature. The jeweled Lorenzo Valencia helmet is priced at around $13,250 and they ask for deposit of $2,700 plus a two-month lead time.
