Skoda launches Fabia S2000

Skoda will launch 200 special editions Fabia�s to commemorate its Intercontinental Rally Challenge victory in 2010.

The vRS S2000 is based on the regular vRS, and features a rally inspired paint job and decals with green with white roof and 17� alloy wheels.

Like the vRS, the S2000 is powered by a 1.4 TSI petrol engine, developing 178bhp and is mated to a 7spd dual-clutch gearbox, which works in fully automatic or manual tiptronic modes. With a top speed of 139mph, the car will sprint from 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds.

While prices have not been confirmed, only 20 cars will reach the UK market from January.
