SPY - 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse

Prone to be unveiled in the autumn of next year (probably at the 2011 stage of the IAA Frankfurt), the future generation of the B-Klasse will use the same successful recipe as the first generation: practicality combined with a relevant dose of dynamic skills. However, Mercedes-Benz engineers have taken these ideas one step forward - modularity will be the main term to perfectly characterize the drivetrain of the new B-Klasse. And this thanks to the new Mercedes Frontwheel Architecture, that is so advanced and radical that the officials are describing it as an unprecedented powertrain breakthrough and, therefore, the Stuttgart-based constructor will file a patent for it. We'll see this innovative solution premiered in a year when Mercedes-Benz celebrates 125 years from the birth of the first automobile - the Three-wheeled Patent Motor Car of Carl Benz. And which is the way Mercedes-Benz found to surprise the whole world after inventing the automobile? Well, reinventing it. Sounds promising!
