The first day on the Monza track has not necessarily been a very easy-going one for MERCEDES GP PETRONAS. The team evaluated certain setups to the car to see which of them best suits the W 01 single-seater while competing on the fast Italian circuit. The German-British team has also installed its new F-duct system and the first results were pretty encouraging. The peak performance was achieved by Nico Rosberg, who classified 5th and 10th, while Michael Schumacher managed a mere 10th and only 14th positions in the first and, respectively, second free practice sessions. Check out new photos captured yesterday on the track, after the jump!
