Yesterday, Mercedes Grand Prix showed an improved pace during the first practice round, which was carried on in mixed conditions. As the track was, all over the circuit, wet and dry at the same time, Michael Schumacher delivered a very good performance and nearly missed the opportunity of topping the time sheets of the first session in favour of Red Bull's Mark Webber. The second practice round didn't bring anything special for the German-British team, as both drivers seemed to encounter certain difficulties while competing on dry tarmac.
