Illustration - 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Klasse
The 231 series of the SL-Klasse roadster is expected to debut towards the end of 2012 or in the first quarter of 2013. It is bound to retain the slim, sexy and dynamic silhouette, as well as the hi-tech tin top system. The exterior design of the new generation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz "topless" model will feature progressive and organic lines and shapes, inspired by the latest concept and series models of the constructor. Apparently, according to the renderings created by Larson from Autobild, the future SL will go on the trail of the upcoming CLS-Klasse with the addition of 100% LED headlights and beautifully sculpted tail lamps. The side profile of the cabriolet will boast impressive, muscular surfaces, that immediately hark back to the rich heritage left by the 300 SL of the 1950s.
