The 140 series from Mercedes-Benz is one of the few, select models in the lineup and history of the German constructor which heralds the key, true values of the premium brand:built-in quality, ultra luxury, solidity, and, nonetheless, reliability. The car was described in 1991 as being "the world's finest car" by the famous 'Auto Motor und Sport' German auto publication.
