Chin Chan's White FD3S back then...

A good friend of mine, Chin Chan, has a really amazing white FD3S RX-7. Unfortunately for Chin Chan, he has not been so fortunate as his car has been plagued with several engine failures in the last 2 years. The car is up and running now having had a spare, bone stock Wankel from a late 1999 FD half-cut fitted temporarily while his old engine is being rebuilt.



I was going through some old files and discovered a couple of short clips of his ride.

This clip was taken at Aerotech when the garage was still a popular tuning spot.


This is a clip from Auto Select Japan taken from Wee Liang's BCNR33 while it was being mapped and tuned. Chin Chan tagged along and was keeping up.


It's a real quick car and we are all eagerly waiting for it to be resurrected once again. Since then, he has had several additional modifications done to it. It now sports an RE Amemiya GT-AD kit and will have Gunmetal Advan Racing RS wheels.
Will definately snap some shots once the car is ready.
