Prices for the new Nissan Qashqai+2 will start from just �17,199 when it goes on sale in September.
The Qashqai+2 made its debut at the 2008 British International motorshow and is a seven-seat variant of the regular Qashqai.
The Nissan Qashqai+2 is 210mm longer and 38mm taller than its five-seat sibling, which scored the highest EuroNCAP safety rating ever. Buyers of the Qashqai+2 can choose from either a 140bhp 2.0 litre petrol engine or a 150bhp 2.0 litre diesel engine, with the option of front-wheel-drive or Nissan�s ALL-MODE four-wheel-drive setup.
The Japanese carmaker is offering the Qashqai+2 in three trim and equipment levels � Visia, Acenta and Tekna. Nissan says the new third row of seats in the Qashqai+2 �can be used by children or occasional use by adults�, although its best left to kids under 10. This third row can fold down completely flat to release nearly 500 litres of luggage space � 90 more than the standard five-seat Nissan Qashqai.
The Nissan Qashqai+2 will also be fitted with a panoramic glass sunroof as standard. A �sunshade� can be activated to cover the glass roof to block out intense sunlight. The entry-level Visia models come with privacy glass, air-conditioning, trip computer, Bluetooth hands-free capability, a four-speaker CD system, six-airbags and 17-inch alloy wheels as standard. Flagship Tekna model's gets heated leather seats, xenon headlamps and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Prices start from �17,199 and the new Nissan Qashqai+2 will go on sale from 18 September 2008.
