SPY-new photos with the S-Klasse FL emerge

The Stuttgart flagship will undergo a facelift procedure at the mid of its life cycle.

The new S-Klasse will get retouched headlamps, with LED blinkers(placed horizontally, at the bottom) and daytime running lights(placed vertically, on the sides), double fog lights, redesigned rear lights with LED technology, a new, bolder radiator grille, updated exterior mirrors with arrow-shaped turn signals and slightly revised air intakes and bumpers. In the interior, the changes will be even more subtle, but expect some changes to be made to the COMAND infotainment system. The luxury limousine could also be offered in the S 400 BlueHYBRID version, powered by a 3.5 liters V6 engine, co-developed with BMW. Expect the car to make the public debut this fall at the 2008 edition of the Mondial de l'Automobile Paris;sales and deliveries should start in early 2009.
