Murcilago

Got to toy around in this today.
It's a Lamborghini Murcilago (pronounced moor-thee-EH-la-goh in traditional Castilian Spanish and moor-see-EH-la-goh in Spanish of Latin America). It means "bat" in Spanish and comes from a bull that survived 24 sword strokes in an 1879 fight at the arena of Crdoba, and fought with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its life, a rare honor.

Looks like an LP640 doesn't it?
Isn't she beautiful? Notice the folded side mirrors? The side mirrors are able to fold in to improve aerodynamics.

The Raging Bull.

Door Sills. Murcilago...

The rear wheels.

Dual exhausts.

Lamborghini... Founded in 1962 by a man called Ferruccio Lamborghini.

What power lurks beneath those vents. There is a rear spoiler that can be raised to an angle of 70 degrees. Side scoops automatically open to the needed size to let in the right amount of air needed to cool its wicked engine.

Scissor-opening doors.

Front wheels. Look at that lovely caliper and floating disc.

6.2 L V12 engine, capable of producing up about 426 kW (580 bhp) at 7500 rpm and about 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. If it was an LP640, it would have a 6.5 L V12 and produce slightly more power.

Lovely interior.

Carbon Fiber threw up all over the car.

Gorgeous.
