Following the first spy photos of Kia's upmarket sedan, a few mules have now been sighted undergoing warm-weather testing in Death Valley.
The front-wheel drive VG sedan is expected to bow as a 2010 model and will be based on the same platform that underpins the Hyundai Azera. Sources are speculating that the VG will be powered by a 2.4 litre four-cylinder, with several possible V6 options, including a 3.8-litre V6 - but nothing is confirmed yet.
The prototype spied here is sporting optional Hyundai Genesis alloy wheels which means that the newcomer could rival the Genesis.
