The Mercedes Mclaren SLR is a jointly developed car by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive. Although it's part Mercedes, this car is built in England and it says so too on the tag on the car, "Made in England". At that time, Mercedes-Benz owned 40 percent of the McLaren Group and they set out to produce a memorable supercar. What did they come up with? The SLR, short for Sport, Light, Racing.
5.5-liter handbuilt supercharged V8 engine breathes underneath the carbon fiber hood. Exhaust exit immediately through the sides.

So many vents that look like gills on a great white shark! Trust me, when they say this pumps out 617 HP and 580 LB-FT of torque, they mean it! Feather the throttle and you are already glued to the back of your seat.
370 mm carbon ceramic discs coupled with 8 pot calipers are serious stopping power. Mercedes-Benz claims these discs are fade resistant to 1,200 �C.
