Black S8 Quattro

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've come down with a sore-throat and flu recently and was bed ridden. Always happens during the Chinese New Year. Must be the weather.

Anyway, last night whilst walking up to my room, I spotted this in the garage...

Oooh, another S8 Quattro!

So, come Sunday afternoon, I gave Bryan a call and asked him if he'd like to take some shots as well as go for a short ride with me. The weather looked dreary and I had expected it pour, thus canceling our outing but thankfully, the skies held up.

I popped over to Bryan's place and we went back to mine to take some quick shots...

5.2L V10 engine producing 444 bhp at 7,000 rpm with 398 ftlbf of torque at 3,500 rpm. Displacement is slightly bigger then that of the Lamborghini Gallardo's V10.

Bryan took a short clip of her accelerating. I need to get a tripod for the video shots. Any recommendations? =P The car feels very planted, power is linear but it feels somewhat heavy. It's much more comfortable compared to the IS-F though. It's very quiet and you can barely hear the V10 rumble.

Check out the startup...

Suction doors...

After that, we popped by a nearby mamak to have a quick drink before calling it a day and headed home.

I had a grey S8 Quattro previously which was sold. Check out my previous post, 'Sneak Peek Audi S8 Quattro'
