SPY - 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse FL

The test mule of the upcoming C-Klasse FL has been recently snapped by photographers in Scandinavia.

The refreshed Merc mid-sized limousine will receive some important exterior changes, such as revised headlights(customers will also have the possibility to choose LEDs for them), a new front bumper, tail lights with LED technology as an option, as well as an updated interior, in which the dashboard will no longer feature the retractable display for the COMAND unit, that shall be replaced by a fixed one. In this way, the new dash of the C-Klasse will be very similar to that of the GLK-Klasse compact SUV. Possibly, we can expect new rims and new colour combos and premium materials for personalizing the interior of the car.

Worth mentioning are the technologycal modifications programmed for the engine lineup-improved-efficiency powerplants, and probably, some of the new MoVe units(a 252 BHP V6 diesel for the C 350 CDI and an uber-300 BHP V6 petrol engine for the top-of-the-range C 350 version).

The new C-Klasse FL will debut in the end of 2010 or at the beginning of the next year. After the sedan and T-Modell, the C range will be enriched by the middle of 2011 with a true coupe model, to be called CLK.
