IS-F

This just in...

What F?

Lexus's answer to your performance sedan needs, the Race-Proven High Performance Sports Sedan, IS-F. I managed to snap a few quick shots after she got a nice wash.

The chief designer of the IS F is none other than Yukihiko Yaguchi who previously worked on the Toyota Supra.

Check out those quad tail pipes! You know she means business.

The tail pipes are very nice however, in it's stock trim, I find them to be actually very, very quiet. I mean, she's still a sedan after all. I'm sure a nice after market free flowing exhaust will do justice to her V8 engine. She'll definitely scream after that! Imagine listening to that V8 roar!

She even has vented fenders.

Gorgeous isn't she.

Hiding behind the 19" BBS forged aluminum alloys are some pretty big brakes. Brembo 6 pot aluminum calipers stamped with 'Lexus' wrap around the 14.2" cross-drilled rotors.

The rears are smaller with 13.6" rotors.

The cabin. Sitting in the drivers seat, it's pretty nice. Still feels very much like a sedan but the seats slightly wrap around your bottom very subtly, giving you that little hint she is not just all comfort.

The meter cluster and paddle shifters. Sweet.

Silver Carbon Fiber?

Back room is actually pretty much the same as a BNR34. Not a lot of room. Quite snug if you have a tall driver in the front.

Back has this trim too.

The 5.0L direct-injected 2UR-GSE V8 produces 416 bhp at 6600 rpm and peak torque is 371 ftlbf at 5200 rpm. This baby revs to 6800rpm.

More silver carbon fiber trim in the engine bay.

These days, engine bays are covered up nice and tight.
