Audi Announce Two World Debuts for Detroit Show

Audi have announced in a snappy press release the world premieres of a new concept vehicle and 'world first' (presumably) production car both set for the North American International Automobile Show at Detroit in January.

Speculation has been rife amid the official announcement of the two world premieres, the concept debut expected to be that of an R8 Targa. While the Q5 or facelifted A3 may very well be on the cards for a production model world premiere much like a V10-powered R8 and Q7 Hybrid, our money's split between the 2009 Q5 SUV and Audi's 2.0-litre TT-S, which was confirmed last month by insiders to be destined for Detroit and the US market.

There's little to do now but sit back and wait until Audi unveil their two world firsts on January 13th at 2.20pm. We'll have it covered, so check back soon for the lowdown.
