The roofless version of the mighty SLS AMG supercar is tipped for the official premiere next year in September, at the Frankfurt Motor Show (or, best known as IAA). The model is currently undergoing rigorous road tests, and after being spotted in Sweden weeks ago, it was scooped running around the carmaker's Sindelfingen plant in Germany, just moments before the prototype entered the Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Center. The SLS AMG Cabriolet will likely use a fashionable, classic canvas top, in order to keep the overall weight as low as possible, and it will boast the same engine that powers the Gullwing version - the naturally-aspirated 6208 cc V8 unit.
