While the equipment is generous, the starting price isn't. 14,500 is the starting price for the 1.33 litre petrol Stop/Start rising to 16,400 for the AWD 1.4 litre D-4D.
The 1.33 litre petrol does 42.8mpg urban and emits 154g/km, 57.7mpg extra urban and 115g/km with 51.4mpg combined and overall CO2 emissions of 129g/km. The AWD 1.4 D-4D does 48.7mpg urban with emissions of 153g/km, 64.2mpg extra urban with CO2 at 117g/km and overall fuel economy and emissions of 57.7mpg and 130g/km.
Toyota UK will ditch the tacky looking wheelarch extensions because...they look tacky. Toyota plans to sell more than 25,000 units (2,500 units in the UK) of the Urban Cruiser during its first full year of sales in Europe and the AWD version is expected to account for 30% of overall sales.
