E92 M3

I would really like one of these in the garage, an E92 BMW M3. Loving the 'Stormtrooper' theme as well, black on white.

Bulging, bulging...

Carbon Fiber roof.

So snug

Sorry for the lack of updates peeps. The last week has been a real back breaker, from the guest artist and future business partners coming down to KL, to birthday and bachelor parties. Not to mention the World Cup too...

I've come down with a sore throat and cough on top of that. Urgh, throat is so irritating.

Anyway, I'll try to keep posting stuff up but please bear with me. (^_^)

Here's something we'd all want in our garage, a Bayside Blue BNR34 and a nice clean White E92 M3. I wonder how he gets in and out of the car though... So snug!

Red E92 M3

On the way to work, I spotted this... I fumbled and managed to pull out a phone to take a picture in time. Unfortunately it was the Blackberry Bold 9000 so sorry for the crappy picture.

Ericsson M3 M480 Concept

I've been having a thing for the 335i BMW's lately. The Lexus SC430 has been sold, so maybe it would be nice to have a 2 door 335i in it's place in the garage. Perhaps an E92 M3 Coup would be ideal.

This Ericsson M3 M480 Concepts is simply gorgeous. So want one!
Ericsson is actually the sub-division of Japanese tuning company Amuse, so it's still a little JDM yo!

Promechanix Technical Institute Launch

I hope everyone had as much fun as I had over the weekend. New Years Eve was especially fantastic for me as I shot off to a pool party right after work. A party which lasted till 9 in the morning the next day. A party which later took me the rest of the weekend to recover from. Feels like age is catching up!

This morning though, I went over to Cheras to support an event Ivan Tan was involved in. Here's an old post I made of Ivan's R32.

Ivan was involved in the Promechanix Technical Institute Launch. Local superstar, Leona Chin also asked me to go have a look as she was going to be the VIP guest for the day (plus she was giving a short speech and I wouldn't want to miss that!). So, what's Promechanix Technical Institute?

Promechanix Technical Institute is an educational establishment focusing on automotive and motorsports technical development. They currently offer the Automotive Mechanics and Motorsports Mechanics courses, which aim to facilitate students in attaining a successful career in this industry.

Looks like more and more Automotive schools are emerging. Hope it contributes to the development of the automotive industry here.

Made our way over at 10am. We would have stayed a little longer but it was hot! On top of that, I got very little sleep the previous night so I was groggy as heck. I promised Ivan I would drive my car over but alas, my power steering belt came loose the previous night and I was without power steering on 275 tyres so it wasn't going to happen. I brought something else instead... *grin*

Bumped into fellow blogger 'TOMIYA TAKATO' too. He had just enrolled with this institute. Wishing you the best and bright future. Sorry mate, didn't catch your real name. Check out his blog, '????' for some shots he took this morning and take the time to check out his very cool project R32 too.

Here are a couple of shots I took. Bryan should have better looking shots on the way.

Some shots of the place...

It was so hot and humid.

Whoa, a 550 Maranello...

The heart of Bryan's monster.

These set of white ladies caught my eyes...

M Powahhhh! *laughs*

Old school shit. I'd really like one in my garage.

Another V12 that was around that day.

Local automotive celebrity, Leona Chin arrives.

Here she is giving a speech. It was so cute seeing her give a speech! *laughs*

Ivan a.k.a aibon's R32.

Joe Yap a.k.a 'Sky Kor Kor' Bayside Blue BNR34. We're poking some fun at him and we've created a fan page on Facebook. So if you're bored, come join the fun!

Alright people, I'm off. I need to go catch some ZZzzzZzzz's now.

The one with the APD opening

APD or Automovite Performance Development had a little opening last Sunday, 31st May 2009.
Some nice cars, BBQ and RM50 for dyno runs on the Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer.

Here are some shots I took...

Eugene's FD3S.

That is one ugly G35.

We weren't the earliest but we got front row seats.

Not long after that, guess what showed up. A CLK DTM! Talk about rare!

This is the real thing. You can clearly see the carbon fiber weave through the paint.

The GTI club showed up too. I was expecting more civilized people but... *shake head* One of these morons showed up flooring the car to get attention. Not to mention one of them had his brakes smoking away. Dumbass!

NOTE: Because a fellow GTI member got sensitive about what I said, I'm making it clear that not everyone in the GTI group behaved like this. Two or three idiots does not make the whole group one.

Edit: It seems the person with the smoking brakes is not affiliated with the GTI club, I mean the car is but the driver isn't, I mean he wasn't invited, I mean.... I really don't know. You should ask the GTI club members...

Then an F430 Spider showed up.

Audi R8 with a busted shaft.

Abflug Supra. About to embark on a 1000hp journey.

M-Spec Nr? Inspected it. Fake.

The infamous Mel-Tune. I wonder if Melvin still owns this car...

CLK DTM after the dyno run.

427.6hp at the rear wheels. Impressive.

I heard it was 351.4hp at the rear wheels.

For those of you who are wondering why the figures are so low, Dyno Dynamics are well known for producing very low figures, which is why it is nicknamed the 'Heartbreaker'. Some say it's one of the most, if not, the most accurate dynamometer.

Getting on the Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer. Didn't exactly break my heart. I was quite impressed actually. =)
Bet you're itching to know the results... *grin*

Here's a video of it...
